I’m a small town girl with big city hair. I was born and raised in Paris (Texas, that is) and moved to Dallas after high school. After 5 years of sales and marketing in corporate America, and later becoming a full time nanny, I knew something was missing. My love for hair and makeup is no secret. Those who know me know that I never leave my house without big teased hair and HOT pink lipstick. So, I combined my love for all things hair and makeup with my passion for people and started Tease to Please Hair and Makeup in 2016. I haven’t looked back.

Along with individual training, we all participate in group education classes consistently throughout the year to share tips, tricks, and the latest hair and makeup styles.

This means we have the capability to handle the multiple large weddings & special events that this city is known for. We specialize in traditional and airbrush makeup that will enhance your look in any photo! We love the natural look, but we can definitely handle the smokiest eye and any type of contour. Luxurious lashes are included to accentuate your eyes and give you the extra boost that will last all day and through the night. Whether you’re taking bridal portraits or walking down the aisle on your big day, you’re going to look flawless!

What do you charge for your services? Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding pricing or special requests.
Do I really need professional help with my hair or makeup? When your car breaks down, you bring it to a professional- someone who works at their craft on a daily basis and continuously attends training and improving their skill. It’s the same for hair and makeup! There’s a reason celebrities have someone do their makeup for special events and photos. You will be amazed at what a difference a pro can make! Let us relieve the stress of looking your best and pamper you on your special day.
What Is Required To Book Your Services? Just complete the information request form located on the Contact Us page. After you have filled out all the necessary information and sent it to us, we review it and send you an agreement which includes pricing for our hair and makeup services for your wedding or special event. Once you decide we’re a good fit, just send the agreement back to us along with a $500 non-refundable retainer to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your special event. That’s it!
I Really Want A Trial session before I book my wedding. Can I do that? Yes, you can. During the trial session, we will go over everything to get an idea of what you want for hair and makeup services. After the initial consult, we will make any suggestions if needed and then start on your hair and makeup. This is a trial run so don’t be afraid to be honest; if you want any adjustments made after we are finished please let us know! We will make the necessary changes until you are completely 100% in love! We will take some photos so that we can make sure to duplicate the same look on the day of the event. This session is usually about 2 to 3 hours.
How far in advance should clients book your services? Sooner is always better than later. The average time is about 6 months in advance, but we have some clients that book 12 to 16 months out. Having said that, we are happy to accommodate short notice bookings as long as we are available.
Do you come to me or do you have a studio? We typically do trial runs, bridal/engagement hair and makeup, and all other pre-wedding appointments that require our services in our studio which is located on the Northeast corner of Mockingbird Lane and Abrams in Dallas, Texas.
What is your cancellation policy? There are no refunds given due to a cancellation after the contract and retainer are in place. We require payment in advance for all other hair and makeup appointments outside of a wedding contract.
Is there a discount if I book for more than one event, like a rehearsal dinner and the wedding day? We offer custom packages to make sure our services fit your needs (and your budget), no matter how many events you need us for!
Can you stay on site during my event or come back so I can change my look for the reception? We are happy to help. Just request all the services you are interested in and we will give you an exact quote to accommodate your needs.
I have a large bridal party and not much time to get ready. Can you handle it? Absolutely. Please furnish as many details as you can when you reserve your date! Once we get your information, we will make sure we have enough artists to give you excellent results in the time you have to work with.
What time can you start? We will work with your schedule. We consider 7am as our normal start time for any work day. If you need us before 7 in the morning, extra fees may apply. In special circumstances, we may ask that you secure accommodations for the artists the night before the event.
Is gratuity included automatically? No. We never expect anything extra, but are always grateful to receive tips if you feel pleased with the services provided. We always leave that decision up to the client.
What kind of makeup do you use? Tease to Please uses professional, camera-ready hair and makeup products. Because they are top grade, you might not always recognize the brand names since many are not available to the general public. We only use products that we know will give you a flawless look and that will last the longest. If you have sensitive skin or any skin issue, we also have products that are safe and hypoallergenic. Just let us know any of your cares or concerns at the trial run and we are happy to accommodate your needs as best we can.
Do you provide any specialty services? (airbrushing, extensions, false eyelashes, etc) We do provide airbrush makeup, however, I have found it is not always the best choice for every skin type and texture! At your trial run we will discuss what the best choice is for you. We love false eyelashes and recommend them for everybody. If you have questions about other specialty services, just ask! We do not provide extensions however we help you pick out the perfect set for you! If we don’t provide the service, chances are we can recommend someone who does.
Do you only do weddings? Tease to Please can help you with any special event, not just weddings. Many clients book us for family portrait sessions, proms, corporate functions, etc. If it is a meaningful event to you or your family, we want to be your go-to hair and makeup artist! Most of our clients continue to use our services even after their wedding day!
